Sweet Auburn Historic District
Atlanta, Georgia
Built:1928
The Tabor Building is a historic building originally built around 1928 by the International Order of Twelve Knights and Daughters of Tabor. It was later purchased and renovated by Women’s SCLC in the 1990s, serving as their headquarters before being integrated into new redevelopment plans for the area. The building is a significant example of African-American fraternal architecture and community history in the Jim Crow era.
